The luminous lagoon at Glistening Waters is one of 4 natural bioluminescent bays in the world! Jamaica’s luminous lagoon is considered the brightest of them all and attracts visitors and scientist from all over the world.

When the organisms that live in the water is disturbed, the Lagoon glows a beautiful blue light and when it rains, you are in for a spectacular light show. The harmless microorganisms live in this unique bay that was formed from the fresh waters of the Martha Brae River mixed with the salty water of the Caribbean Sea.

This is an experience of a lifetime and you have the option to take a dip in the water, go swimming or just splash around.
