Overview
Departure is at 8:00 AM from the agreed-upon meeting point, with the return scheduled for between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, before sunset. The tour takes place in a 4×4 vehicle driven by a certified guide, offering a full day of immersion in the Lençóis Maranhenses. The first stop is at a lagoon for a swim, with the duration determined by the guide based on the day’s conditions. Next, we head to Canto do Atins Beach. During the rainy season, and depending on conditions, it may be possible to enjoy the small natural waterfalls in the Bonzinho or Ponta do Mangue areas. After a dip in the sea, we will stop for lunch in Canto do Atins or Atins, as recommended by the guide. Following the meal, we will visit the charming village of Atins, take a short 4×4 drive around the area, and conclude the itinerary with one last swim in a lagoon before returning.
