• Drive past the historic St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral, one of Renou2019s most distinctive historic landmarks. Your guide will share the story of this beautifully preserved cathedral, its early history in Reno, and its connection to the growth of the city. Guests will have a brief opportunity to admire the architecture and take photos before continuing through Renou2019s historic neighborhoods

• Drive through Renou2019s vibrant Neon Line District, home to striking large-scale public art, restored historic neon signs, and monumental sculptures connected to Renou2019s creative culture and Burning Man tradition. Your guide will point out several of the districtu2019s most distinctive installations and share how Burning Man art has become part of Renou2019s identity. Guests will have a brief opportunity to stop for photos before continuing the tour

• Drive past the iconic National Bowling Stadium, one of downtown Renou2019s most distinctive landmarks and a world-class destination for championship bowling. Your guide will share how Reno became a major destination for national bowling tournaments and point out the stadiumu2019s distinctive dome, while continuing through the heart of downtown Reno

• Enjoy a scenic drive along Virginia Street through the heart of Renou2019s famous casino district. Your guide will point out historic and iconic resorts including Silver Legacy, Eldorado, Circus Circus and other landmarks while sharing the story of Renou2019s transformation into one of Nevadau2019s best-known gaming and entertainment destinations. This portion of the tour is experienced from the comfort of your vehicle with guided commentary and photo opportunities along the way

• Leave downtown Reno and travel east toward Sparks, enjoying a scenic drive through the changing landscape of the Truckee Meadows. Your guide will introduce the history and character of Sparks, explain its railroad roots, and point out the surrounding high-desert landscape and distant Virginia Range mountains as the tour heads toward the wild-horse viewing area

• Head into the scenic high-desert landscape east of Reno and Sparks for an opportunity to see the free-roaming Virginia Range horses in their natural environment. Your guide will share the fascinating history of Nevadau2019s free-roaming horses while pointing out the surrounding desert landscape and distant Virginia Range mountains. Guests will have time for photographs and wildlife viewing when conditions allow. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed

• Explore historic downtown Sparks and Victorian Square, the heart of the community founded around the Southern Pacific Railroad. Your guide will point out Victorian Avenue, the historic railroad district, the Nugget and other landmarks while sharing the fascinating story of how Sparks grew from a railroad town into a vibrant Nevada city. Enjoy a brief walk and photo opportunity before beginning the return drive to Reno

• Return to the Reno Arch in downtown Reno, where your 2-hour sightseeing experience concludes. Your driver-guide will drop you off at the Reno Arch, completing your journey through Reno and Sparks, from historic downtown landmarks and the Truckee River to Renou2019s famous public art, casino district, wild horses and historic Sparks
