Join a hands-on cultural experience where you’ll make chinsuko, a traditional Okinawan sweet, and roast hojicha (roasted green tea), both using ingredients sourced entirely from Okinawa.
Create and taste chinsuko (with some to take home), made with Okinawan flour, sugar, and lard.
Roast and enjoy hojicha using local tea leaves.
This experience is hosted by a local restaurant owner and offers a delicious introduction to Okinawan sweets and tea culture. Chinsuko is known for its light, crunchy texture and mild sweetness—an island favorite for generations.
