  • 8AM- Hotel pick up nnWe visit the home of Mahatma Gandhi, where he led the legendary Salt March of 1930. Built in 1917 along the banks of the Sabarmati River, Gandhiji lived here for 12 years. Learn about Indiau2019s Freedom movement and the non-violence philosophy by walking through these corridors. His living quarters and household artifacts all tell a story!

  • Rana Veer Singh. There is a tragic story of the Queen associated with this well. She deftly got the well-constructed even after her husband was defeated in battle by the Sultan of Gujarat, Mohammad Begda.

  • Hutheesing Jain Temple was built during a severe famine to provide employment to hundreds of skilled artisans. There are as many as 52 shrines dedicated to the Tirthankaras.

  • We visit the Siddi Sayid Mosque to see the world renowned u201cTree of Lifeu201d which is latticework done on semicircular arch-windows. This motif has become the unofficial symbol of Ahmedabad. The Mosque was built in 1572 by the Gujarat Sultanate in their final years of rule before losing to the Mughals.
