The tour begins with a hotel pickup and a walking tour at 8:00 a.m. The first stop is a 15th-century mosque built by Ahmad Shah I that combines Islamic and Hindu architectural elements. As you explore, you’ll come to Ahmad Shah’s Tomb. Following the walking tour, you’ll ride to Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived, and spearheaded major movements like as the Salt March. You will then visit the Adalaj Stepwell and its adjacent garden area. The journey continues to the Hutheesing Jain Temple, a 19th-century temple dedicated to Dharmanatha, followed by a visit to the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, which is known for its beautiful latticework, including the Tree of Life. The final stop is the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Museum, which honors India’s first home minister and showcases his life through films and artifacts. The tour concludes at 3 p.m., with a transfer back to your accommodation. This excursion provides an interesting look at history and architecture.

Itinerary

  • The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel and arriving at the meeting point. Start your walking tour at 8:00 AM where you'll get inside this 15th-century mosque built by Ahmad Shah I. As you explore, you'll notice precise work on the pillars & walls. This place stands as the perfect mix of Islamic & Hindu architectural elements. We will also pass by Ahmad Shah's Tomb on our way.

  • Post the walking tour, get on the ride to Sabarmati Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi lived a remarkable period of his life. He affirmed the freedom struggle movement such as the Salt March.

  • Next up, you will visit the Adalaj Stepwell & its surrounding garden area.

  • From there, you'll head to Hutheesing Jain Temple, a 19th-century Jain temple devoted to the deity Dharmanatha. A glimpse at its fascinating structure till we move on to our next attraction i.e. Sidi Saiyyed Mosque. See the famous latticework or Tree of life as well as exquisite designs.

  • At last, you'll see Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Museum, a museum built dedicated to Independent India's first home minister who successfully united more than 500 princely states. Witness the life journey of Iron Man of India through the short films & displayed artifacts. By 3 PM, the tour comes to an end & you will be transferred back to your hotel.
