Itinerary

  • Pickup from the airport or any location in Delhi or Gurugram, followed by a Delhi sightseeing tour.

  • First, visit the Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, also known as Masjid-i Jahu0101nnumu0101. Built between 1650 and 1656 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahanu2014famed for commissioning the Taj Mahal in Agrau2014it is one of the grandest mosques in India. Jama Masjid is the second largest mosque on the Indian subcontinent and a magnificent example of Mughal architecture.

  • Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. It features a black marble platform marking the site of his cremation, honoring the Father of the Nation.

  • India Gate, located in the heart of New Delhi, was designed by Edwin Lutyens in 1921. This iconic monument honors the soldiers of the former British Indian Army who sacrificed their lives in the Afghan Wars and World War I.

  • Parliament House, or Sansad Bhavan, is one of Delhiu2019s most iconic landmarks. Situated at the end of Sansad Marg, it was designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker and was inaugurated in 1927 by Lord Irwin, the then Governor-General of India.

  • Rashtrapati Bhavan u2013 The official residence of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the largest and grandest presidential homes in the world. Located at the western end of Rajpath in New Delhi, it was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and blends classical Western and Indian architectural styles. The complex includes majestic halls, vast gardens (Mughal Gardens), and ceremonial avenues, making it a stunning symbol of Indiau2019s democratic legacy and architectural splendor.

  • Qutub Minar, a 73-meter (240 ft) tall tower built of red sandstone and marble, is the tallest brick minaret in the world and one of Indiau2019s most renowned historical landmarks. Its construction was begun by Qutb ud-Din Aibak, founder of the Mamluk Dynasty in Delhi, and later completed by his successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish. A UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of Delhi, the monument attracts thousands of visitors daily and remains visible from various parts of the city.

  • Humayunu2019s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi, is one of the cityu2019s most visited monuments. Known for its stunning garden-style designu2014the first of its kind in Indiau2014it was commissioned by Haji Begum, the widow of Mughal emperor Humayun, about nine years after his death. This architectural masterpiece remains a symbol of Mughal elegance and grandeur.

  • After sightseeing in Delhi, proceed to Agra for an overnight stay at a hotel.

  • The Taj Mahal, located in Agra, India, is an iconic white marble mausoleum and one of the countryu2019s most celebrated monuments. Built between 1631 and 1653 by Emperor Shah Jahan, it was commissioned in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal (Arjumand Bano Begum), who died during the birth of their 14th child.
