Surrounded by the majestic Parinacota, Pomerape, Guallatire, and Quimsachatas volcanoes, you’ll visit the stunning Chungará Lake at 4,500 meters (14,764 ft) above sea level, considered one of the highest lakes in the world. Along the way, discover colonial churches, ancient fortresses, towering cactus forests, wetlands, and abundant wildlife including vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, flamingos, and many native bird species.

Pickup from centrally located hotels in Arica
Travel through the fertile Lluta Valley while admiring its agricultural landscapes.
Admire giant candelabra cacti and explore one of the region's most important archaeological sites.
Stop at the historic Tambo de Zapahuira and enjoy panoramic views of the Andean town of Putre.
Visit one of the world's highest lakes, surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes and home to flamingos, ducks, coots, and other Andean birds.
Enjoy a short visit through Putre before returning to Arica.
Arrival back at your hotel in the evening.
