Overview
Make a full-day trip crossing Sucre and Potosí, declared as World Heritage cities by UNESCO. The private transportation will pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and start the trip to Uyuni with a stop-over in the city of Potosí where we will entrer to a silver mine at the Cerro Rico. We will enter to a silver mine at the Cerro Rico.
Cerro Rico mountain or Rich Mountain, in Potosu00ed, Bolivia, at 4700 masl. Potosu00ed is a mining town since middle 1500 when Bolivia was part of the Viceroyalty of Peru, over the next 200 years, more than 40,000 tons of silver were shipped out during the Spanish Colony. nToday the mines at the Cerro Rico are still running and miners work there at extreme labor conditions.
