Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat. With 10.582 square kilometers, the vast white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni can be seen from space. The astronaut Neil Armstrong is said to have mistaken it for a glacier when he was standing on the Moon.

Itinerary
At night, be picked up from your hotel in Sucre to be transferred to the bus terminal to travel to Uyuni.
Arrive in Uyuni and enjoy a rest and a welcome breakfast before starting the tour to the Salar de Uyuni. Visit the train cemetery, a field museum, continue the trip and get to know the handicraft center in Colchani, salt processors and museum. Taste local food with a private lunch in the middle of the salt desert with a view of the Volcano. Marvel at the giant cacti found on Incahuasi Island and enjoy your time with fun photos by the guide. Enjoy a wonderful sunset with reflection effects in the water, accompanied by a special toast with Bolivian wines. Later you will be transferred to the bus terminal to travel back to Sucre.
Visit the train cemetery, a field museum
First you will enter the Salt Flats from u00b4Colchaniu00b4, where you will stop to visit the salt factory. Then you will stop for a while at the salt mounts and visit the Salt Museum.
You will enjoy the impressive landscape from the top of the Incahuasi island located in the middle of the salt flats. From this point you can enjoy an amazing 360 u00ba view of the Salar.
Today you will also visit the Dakar salt monument (representing the annual Dakar Rally Race which is now held in South America) and Plaza de Banderas or Flag Square (a salt platform near the Dakar Monument with flags planted by visitors from all over the world.
Enjoy a wonderful sunset with reflection effects in the water, accompanied by a special toast with Bolivian wines. Later you will be transferred to the bus terminal to travel back to Sucre.
You will arrive in Sucre, your tour will conclude with drop-off at your place of preference.
