After waking up in the plateau, we start the day with a nice breakfast. On our second day, we will stop by Ayder Plateau and watch the Gelintu00fclu00fc Waterfall, then we will move on to Kamilet Valley, another natural wonder with its endemic vegetation. After reaching Arhavi from the coastal road, following the Kapistre Stream, our first stop in the valley is the Historical Double Arch Bridge, one of the most beautiful examples of stonemasonry, located at the intersection of Kamilet and Sou011fucak streams. After a photo break at the historical bridge, we drive to the place where we will walk through the valley for a while. After a mild to moderately difficult hike, we arrive at Menu00e7una Waterfall, which feeds the creatures of Kamilet Valley. After cooling off by the waterfall, we enjoy the view with the delicious highland tea.
After the Menu00e7una waterfall, we descend from the waterfall for lunch to taste the most delicious local dishes of the valley.nnOur next route is Macahel, an untouched geography with a wonderful nature journey that will appeal to all our senses. We will have a pleasant journey within the borders of Georgia until we reach Macahel. After stopping at some places and enjoying the view, we move on to our wooden boutique hotel with a wonderful view, intertwined with nature, where we will stay in the evening.
Today we will enjoy Macahel on the day of Pleasure. We will start the day with a delicious and long local breakfast that we cannot find anywhere else.nn Our first stop after breakfast is the 63-meter-high Maral Waterfall, which is the highest waterfall in Turkey falling from a single stream, with a magnificent visual of the streams coming from the Karu00e7al mountains. In addition to enjoying the view from a front facing the waterfall, we can go down under the waterfall with those who want to. On the way back, we have lunch at another nice place.nnAfter dinner, we will visit the oldest mosque in the region. u0130remit Mosque is a small but different mosque where wood craftsmanship and madder dyes meet. We think that your admiration for this magnificent mosque will increase with the interesting and historical information that our guide will tell you.
Our next stop is Camili village on the Georgian border and the Georgian border gate located in the village. This border gate is full of stories, which is currently not allowed for normal citizens to use, but used to be used when the roads were closed due to heavy snowfall. Again, we visit the old wooden mosque that gave its name to the village of Camili. It is known that the mosque, which is mostly made of wood, was built in 1819. The mosque was destroyed by an avalanche in 1955, and the remaining parts were repaired and the local people repaired it with the timber they brought themselves and had it rebuilt by craftsmen from Arhavi. The restoration of the mosque was completed in 2018. At the same time, Macahel is included in the Biosphere Reserve area by UNESCO. Tema Foundation carries out special work for the region in order to protect the naturalness and famous honey of the Macahel Valley, which is the first and only biosphere reserve area of our country.
We leave Macahel, an untouched geography that we believe will make a significant contribution to our quality of life, after a nice breakfast.nnAfter setting off towards Borcka, we take a break for scenery and oxygen at the Macahel Pass. We hope to be able to take as many wonderful photos as the fog and clouds allow while enjoying the view with breathing therapy.nnOur next stop is Boru00e7ka Karagu00f6l, which was formed after landslides. We take a nice walk around the lake with its wonderful view, taking lots of photos...nn After our trip to Karagu00f6l, we go to lunch. After dinner, we go to the coastal road and go to the Tea Factory, the last stop of our trip. In workshops where we can see the stages that tea goes through, we learn the processes it goes through before it reaches our tables and the brewing methods of Black Sea tea by seeing it firsthand.
(depending on our flight time, we can stop by Rize Bezi fabric workshops and Su00fcrmene Bu0131u00e7ak workshops)nnAfter our visit to the tea factory, unfortunately, we are heading to Trabzon Airport to see you offu2026
