Itinerary

  • Begin your adventure from Costa Maya to Bacalaru2019s famous Seven Color Lagoon, known for its beautiful shades of turquoise and blue. Your tour departs one hour after your cruise ship arrives and is designed for ships with at least 8 hours in port.nnBoard a small boat for approximately 2 hours exploring the lagoon and some of its most fascinating natural and historic sites. Visit Cenote Esmeralda, Cenote La Bruja, Cocalitos, and the Pirateu2019s Channel, once a haven and passage for Caribbean pirates. Along the way, stop at two beautiful locations to swim, cool off, and enjoy Bacalaru2019s clear turquoise waters.nnAfter your boat adventure, relax for about 45 minutes at the Lake Shore Club overlooking the lagoon and enjoy an included Mexican taco lunch with chips, salsa, and non-alcoholic drinks. Guests 21 and older also receive two alcoholic beverages.nnThen sit back and enjoy the approximately 1-hour and 15-minute return drive to Costa Maya, with your cruise schedule always kept in mind.

  • Your cruise ship must have a minimum port stay of 8 hours to participate.

  • The tour departs from our meeting point, located just outside the Costa Maya cruise port entrance. Due to port regulations, independent tour operators are not permitted to pick up guests inside the cruise port facility.

  • No port, no pay! If your cruise ship does not call at Costa Maya, you will receive a full refund.

  • The tour lasts approximately 5.5 hours, including round-trip transportation from Costa Maya.

  • The tour operates rain or shine and does not operate on Wednesdays.

  • Bring a swimsuit, personal towel, and change of clothes.

  • Biodegradable sunscreen is recommended to help protect Bacalar Lagoonu2019s ecosystem.

  • Bring a hat and other sun protection.

  • We recommend bringing extra cash for personal expenses, as credit cards may not be accepted outside the port area.
