For spills and thrills, you can’t beat a day at the Wet ‘n’ Wild Water Village in Sarakinado. It’s got enough slides, rides and sunbathing terraces to keep all ages happy for a few hours.

Speed freaks will want to brave the beastly Black Hole, tackle the scary new Sinkhole and scream their way down the Kamikaze slides. If you prefer a more relaxing day there’s a gentle Lazy River to float along and plenty of sunloungers for snoozing and topping up your tan. There are play areas for the smaller kids, too.

Add bars and cafés to decamp to for some refueling, and you’ve got all the ingredients for a great day out.
