Itinerary

  • You will be picked up from the airport on your arrival in Ahmedabad and driven to Hotel Fortune Park. Standard check-in time at the hotel is after 02:00 p.m. but you may get a room earlier, subject to availability. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  • After breakfast, drive to Lothal that is situated at a distance of 50 miles from Ahmedabad. The drive to Lothal takes around 2 hours.nnLothal is one of the most prominent cities of the Indus Valley civilization. It was a thriving trade center in ancient times with its trade of beads, gems and jewellery reaching the far corners of West Asia and Africa. The worldu2019s earliest known dock is located in Lothal. Spend some time exploring the ruins of this ancient city before you continue your onward journey to Uthellya.

  • Uthellya (2 hours)nnThe ancient site of Uthellya has some splendid remains of this Harappan city. Walk around the ruins and imagine the splendor of a bygone era. There are some well-preserved ruins of temples replete with carvings on the walls. An old well and the crumbling walls of well-planned houses tell the tale of a once prosperous city.nnAfter the tour of Uthellya, drive back to Ahmedabad.

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning. After breakfast take a tour of Ahmedabad. Later you will be dropped at the airport for your onward flight
