Itinerary

  • It will start with the pick-up of passengers from their respective hotels, at the time of 02 : 30 AM - 03 : 00 AM

  • We will arrive around 6:00 a.m. to enjoy an Andean breakfast while taking in breathtaking views of Colca Canyon. It will be an excellent opportunity to relax, take pictures and start the day surrounded by unique landscapes.

  • After breakfast, we will make a journey of approximately 1 hour to the Mirador Cruz del Condor. Here you will enjoy a guided tour of one of the deepest canyons in the world, where you can appreciate the majestic flight of the Andean condor. You will also have free time to take pictures and admire the stunning scenery.

  • Enjoy a privileged view of the Colca Valley from the Tapay Viewpoint, an ideal place to admire the stunning Andean landscapes and the depth of the canyon. From this point you can see the traditional villages of Tapay, Cosu00f1irhua, Malata and San Juan de Chuccho, surrounded by agricultural terraces and mountains. Travelers can take panoramic photographs, appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings and learn more about the culture and customs of the valley communities.

  • Continuing the tour, we will make a stop in the traditional village of Maca, known for its colonial architecture and historic church. Here you can appreciate the Andean environment, interact with local people and taste the traditional u2018Colca Souru2019, a typical drink of the area. There will also be time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery.

  • Continuing the tour, we will visit the Chacapi Thermal Baths, where you can relax in natural hot spring pools with therapeutic properties, surrounded by an impressive Andean landscape. In addition, for those looking for a more active experience, optional activities such as quad bikes, zip lining, horseback riding and kayaking on the Colca River are also offered in the area. It will be the ideal time to rest or live an adventure during the trip.

  • At noon, we will head to enjoy lunch. You will have the option of choosing between a buffet lunch with a variety of dishes typical of the region or selecting u00e0 la carte dishes according to your preference. nnIt will be an excellent opportunity to taste local cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.

  • Continuing the tour, we will make a stop at Patapampa, the highest point of the route, also known as the u2018Volcano Lookoutu2019. nFrom here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca and snowy Ampato volcanoes, surrounded by a spectacular Andean landscape. nIt will be an excellent opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings.

  • Continuing the tour, we will make a stop in Patahuasi, where you can observe South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas and vicuu00f1as in their natural habitat. nIt will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about these emblematic species of the Andes.

  • We will finish the tour with the return to the city of Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza de Armas, ideal central point to continue exploring the city or heading to your accommodation.

  • After the visit to the Condor Cross, we will start the return with a stop in the traditional village of Achoma. Here we will take a guided tour of its natural viewpoint, from where you can see stunning landscapes of Colca Canyon, agricultural terraces and Andean daily life. They will also have time to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings.
