Important to know before you book the tour: In the camps outside of the city of Zagora, you can find just small dunes around the mountains. If you like to enjoy a night in the big dunes of Erg Chegaga, we do have also options including 4×4 transfers – The Chegaga dunes are around 3 h away from Zagora city.

This memorable trip starts with the scenic drive from Marrakech over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2u2019260 m), where you can spot the traditional Berber villages with its inhabitants working and chatting at the roadside.
Shortly before the desert capital Ouarzazate, you have the opportunity to visit the famous Kasbah Au00eft-Ben-Haddou, the fortified clay city with its numerous Ksars and Kasbahs, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Prince of Persia have been shot. Enjoy a guided visit with a local guide.
After crossing the vast Anti-Atlas mountains, you arrive at the green and peaceful Draa Valley which is famous for its huge date groves and henna fields.
Enjoy an unforgettable night in the small dunes just outside of the city of Zagora! nnGet on your friendly camel and walk through the landscape Desert at a desert pace. The camel ride takes around 1 h and it is possible to make a stop in the way to take pictures and marvel at the sunset (depending on the season). nnAfter arrival at your luxury desert camp, you'll be greeted with an original Berber mint tea. Welcome to enjoy and relax! nEnjoy your evening dining in a berber tent, look for shooting stars at the camp fire and sleep in a luxury nomad tent with bathroom!
The next morning, wake up by the first strays of light to watch the sunrise over the desert before you enjoy your typical breakfast in the camp. Enjoy some Sandboarding if you like to, or just take some more pictures of the beautiful colorful landscape.
On our way back through the Draa Valley in direction Marrakech weu2019ll stop in Ouarzazate for lunch and sightseeing in the Kasbah Taourirt or in the movie museum. The city of Ouarzazate with its film making studios hosts a lot of international film productions and is also known as u00abHollywood of Moroccou00bb.
After leaving Ouarzazate, you take a detour to the bizzare Telouet Kasbah which once belonged to the great Glaoui family and has a stratetic position with a fantastic view. Nowadays, it is fast crumbling into the red earth, but still an extraordinary site to visit.
Afterwards, weu2019re heading back to Marrakech and your Hotel/Riad over the Atlas Mountains. Late evening arrival in Marrakech.
