Itinerary

  • We collect you from your accommodation in Johannesburgnaround 6am and transfer you to the shuttle service at OR Tambo International Airport. Shuttle service departs in an air-conditioned bus to Hoedspruit. You will pass through the picturesque Mpumalanga farmlands en route to your lunch destination in Hoedspruit (clientu2019s that fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate airport will be collected). After lunch (at own cost), we proceed to your first overnight accommodation at Bongan African Lodge in an African Village near the Manyeleti Reserve. Upon arrival, our dedicated staff will welcome you and show you to your chalets, where you can relax for a while. Your first official safari experience will commence shortly after settling into your accommodation u2013 the Sunset game Drive. Return to the Bongan African Lodge for a delicious dinner around 7pm u2013 where the dayu2019s adventures can be shared over a warm meal. Stay overnight in your comfortable chalet.

  • Wake up early and enjoy a packed breakfast on your way to your entire day game viewing experience in the Kruger National Park. Searching to see the Big 5! Dinner will be served from 7:30pm in the Bongan boma.

  • After Breakfast, your guide will take you to the FunjwanChildrenu2019s School, where your first day of engaging in community projects begins. This provides an educational opportunity to immerse yourself in the local childrenu2019s way of life, ideal for the humanitarian traveller wishing to learn, grow and participate. Community service projects include:nu2022 Reading books to the studentsnu2022 Environmental education (climate change, eco-awareness, wildlifenconservation, etc)nu2022 Assisting in planting a self-sustaining vegetable gardennu2022 Painting classroomsnu2022 Assisting in sports activities / extra-curricular entertainmentn(eg. games and challenges)nu2022 English language skillsnu2022 We are assisting in cooking meals for the children

  • After breakfast, continue with your community service projects. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Manyeleti Reserve or Kruger Park. Keep your eyes peeled, and your cameras ready as your guide takes you on yet another immersive game-viewing experience.

  • Panoramic tour for the day. Depart after breakfast. Visit Three Rondawels, Bourkes Potholes, Godu2019s Window, and Mac Mac Falls

  • An early game drive in Manyeleti / Kruger Park. After breakfast at 10am, we transfer you to your shuttle service in Hoedspruit who will the take you to OR Tambo International Airport.
