• From Katunayake to Yapahuwa travel distance is 120 Km and it's about 3 hours of travel time. nYapahuwa is an ancient royal fortress of Sri Lanka nthat dated back to 1272. In the era of the King, Bhuvenakabahu Yapahuwa became the capital of Sri Lanka. nThis Rock fortress complex which is around 100 meters from the base level is very attractive with its surrounding scenery. nThe staircase leading to the rock, Lion stone sculptures, Carvings by the staircase, and Stunning views over the fortress are the main attractions in Yapahuwa.nWe will spend 1 hour & 30 minutes in the location. (We have not included the entrance ticket of 500 LKR per person to this attraction with our price)

• After Yapahuwa sightseeing in Yapahuwa, the tour starts from Yapahuwa to Anuradhapura. Travel time is around 1 hour & 30 minutes. travel distance is about 75 Km. nAfter reaching Anuradhapura check in to your hotel and relax in the hotel. (hotel price not included with our package price) nAs per the time availability and if the tourist is comfortable the sightseeing in Anuradhapura ancient city can cover on Day 01 evening or else it'll be on Day 02 morning hours. nFor the entire sightseeing in Anuradhapura minimum of 03 hours time required.

• Sightseeing in the Ancient city of AnuradhapuranLet's explore the first man-made city the first ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Most of the huge tanks, monuments, and ruined buildings are in this province. Anuradhapura is a world heritage site. The land is mostly tropical woodlands and not densely populated at the present but this area had been the most populated place in the past. (Entrance ticket cost of 25 USD per person not include with our package price)nSightseeing u2013nAbhayagiri , Aukana Buddha statue, Ashokaramaya,Sri Maha bodhiya , Thuparamaya,Ruwanveliseya,Jetavanaramaya, Samadhi Buddha statue, Isurumuniya, Twin ponds, Half-moon stone , Stone BridgenEven spending a full day sightseeing in Anuradhapura will remain for another day. within a half day time, you would be able to cover the most important sightseeing in Anuradhapura. (If a tourist is very interested in history and Anuradhapura story and there will be around 20 USD extra cost for a location expert guide).

• It's recommended to start around 08.00 Am from Anuradhapura to Mihintale. nTravel distance is around 30 Km and about 30 minutes travel time. nnMihintale belongs to the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. nMihintale is very sacred and iconic in Buddhist history in Sri Lanka. nAccording to Buddhist history, Mihintale is the place where King Devanampiyatissa and Buddhist monk Mihidu metnwhen Buddhism was present in Sri Lanka. nIn the morning hours or evening sunset hours are the best time to explore the Mihintale site. nMagnificent 40ft stupa, monuments of the ancient Buddhist monastery, 1840 stone step ancient stairways, nAlms hall and relic house, Black water pond & Kantaka chetiya are the main attractions. nnLet's proceed to Sigiriya after 3 hours of exploring in Mihintale. (The entrance ticket cost to the Mihintale site is 1000 LKR per person not included with our package price)

• From Mihintale to Habarana travel distance is around 60 Km and the travel time will be around 01 hour. nEmerge with Sri Lankan rural local life by Habarana village tour. the small journey will start with a bullock cart along the village road heading to the lake. while the catamaran ride in the lake and admires the view surrounding it. After the catamaran, you will reach the local farmhouse to experience the traditional cooking demonstration. after the demonstration experience the taste of a traditional Sri Lankan lunch buffet. n(Activity cost 20 USD per person not included with our package) It'll be around 1 hour to 2 hours time for this activity.

• 02.00 pm, is the best time to start walking to Sigiriya lion rock fortress.nSigiriya was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1982.nSigiriya Museum visit about Sigiriya fortress and heritage before starting the fortress visit will enlight your knowledge and the purpose of the visit. nnThis royal kingdom was built by Sinhalese king Kashyapa in the fifth century. nWhile your easy climb of 590ft of the fortress you will explore the historical remains of the fortress. nThe Lion Gate and climbing stretch, Close up of Lion's paw, Fascinating Frescoes, Mirror wall, and spiral stairs leading to the frescoes, Water garden & pool.nStay for the sunset with a breathtaking stunning view from the top. nThereafter proceed to your hotel for an overnight stay. n(The entrance ticket cost to Sigiriya fortress is 30 USD and the price does not include in our package price)nDay 2 overnight stay around Sigiriya

• Proceed to Polonnaruwa. travel time 01 hour & 30 minutes. travel distance is about 60 Km. recommend starting the sightseeing early in the morning (Leave from Sigiriya around 08.00 Am) nPolonnaruwa is the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka. nnPolonnaruwa was declared the city by King Vijayabahu1 in 1070 AD. nGalviharaya, Kirivehera, Medirigiriya, Nissanka Mallau2019s Palace, Parakramabahuu2019s Palace, Parakrama Samudraya, Pothgul Vehera, Rankot Vehera, Royal Palace Complex, Satmahal Prasada, Thuparamaya, Vatadage are the main attractions in Polonnaruwa ancient city. nnYou will need around 4 hours minimum for Polonnaruwa sightseeing. nCycling tours are very famous in Polonnaruwa and we suggest you experience the city by cycling. n(cycling rental starts at 5 USD per bicycle & entrance ticket cost to the site is 25 USD per person not included in our package price)

• After Polonnaruwa proceed to Minneriya National Park for the safari experience. Travel time is 01 hour and the distance is 40 Km. around 03.30 pm start the safari.n(Entrance ticket & safari jeep cost not included with package price)nEvening return to Sigiriya for your overnight stay.

• Proceed to Dambulla from Sigiriya. The travel distance is 30 minutes and 20 Km. nDambulla cave temple is the largest and best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. 157 color full statues and The Buddhist mural paintings which cover an area of 2,100 sqm are the most significant. Painting in the cave by cave expresses the story of Lord Buddha. nCaves were inhabited by Buddhist monks since the 3rd century BCE. The place is very remarkable to explore the tradition of living Buddhist ritual practices. nThe required time for the activity is around 2 to 2 & 30 minutes. nThe entrance ticket cost 5 USD not including with package price. nWe will proceed to Kandy after visiting Dambulla cave temple.

• Matale spice Cooking class - On the way to Kandy, nWe will experience a Sri Lankan cooking class and lunch.nAfter the cooking demonstration let's explore the Matale spice & herbal garden to realize how tasty Sri Lankan spices are made with natural herbs. nActivity time will be around 01 to 1 & 1/2 hours. cost of the cooking class is 25 USD for a person not included in our package price.

• Before 04.00 Pm we will reach Kandy. nDambulla to Kandy is 2 hours & 30 minutes 80 Km travel. nnSacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lanka kingu2019s and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple.nArt & Craft Center, Gem museum, Batik & silk center, Kandy lake & evening cultural dancing show are the most tourist attractions we will cover according to the time availability and the interest of the tourist. nnWe will proceed to Nuwara Eliya after seeing Kandy. (Entrance & activity ticket fees not included with package price)nnThe time can be late evening when you start from Kady to Nuwara Eliya.

• 05.00 am start from hotel to Horton's plain. after around 11.00 - 11.30 Am when the area is covered by mist, the sight is not visible so we encourage tourists to start the site by 06.00 Am from the gate. nA 4-wheel jeep or a van will use for the trip from Nuwara Eliya to the entrance gate. Tourists will need light warming clothes (Jacket, hat & shoes) for the long walk in horton's plain national park. nHorton plain national park is the headwaters of the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe rivers in Sri Lanka. nThe sheer precipice of World's End and Baker's Falls is very famous tourist attractions of the park. nHorton plain is very rich in biodiversity and many species found in the park are endemic to the region. n(cost of the entrance ticket is 15 USD not included in the package price)nYou will need a minimum of 04 hours for the activity.nThereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya.

• Relax in your hotel for a few hours. nnSightseeing in Nuwara EliyanAs per the time availability and interest of tourists, We suggest sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. nThe main attractions are Gregory's lake park, Old post office & Victoria garden.

• 01.30 pm, proceed to Nanuoya railway stationn02.30 pm, the train will start from Nanuoya railway station to Ella. when the train reaches Ella it'll be 05.00 pm. nYou will embark on a scenic train journey from Nanuoya to Ella. nnEvening relax in Ella

• Little adamu2019s peakn07.00 am, start an easy walk to Little adam's peak in Ella. nThe path to Little Adam's peak goes through a beautiful lush green tea plantation. nAt the end of the easy hike, you will impress with the landscape view around Ella to the South side of the country. Activity time is 02 hours. nnVisits to Scenic 9 Arch bridge in Ella after Little Adam's peak. nCost of the tuk tuk ride to bridge not include with package price.

• Explore how your favorite tea is processed right from plucking the tea leaves to packing. nstill, the Tea factories maintain their colonial appearance with attractive surroundings. you will amaze by the plantation surrounding the factory. nnactivity is about 1 & 1/2 house.

• Ravana waterfall is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka.nYou can walk over some of the rocks to get a close look but be safe over slippery rocks.nin the dry season, Ravana fall is amazing for a splashing time.

• The afternoon starts the tour from Ella to Mirissa beach in the southern part of the country. travel time is 3 hours & 30 minutes & 180 km.nEvening reach to Mirissa & leisure. nnMirissa is best known for Seasonal (November to April) Whale watching, surfing, seafood restaurants & golden sandy beach.

• After breakfast leisure at Mirissa beach

• It will take 01 hour and 30 Km travel from Mirissa to Galle fort. nGalle dutch fort originally was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese and then fortified by the Dutch from 1649 to the 17th century.ntoday the fort is colorful with a multi-ethnic and multi-religious population. because of the heritage value of the fort UNESCO has listed Galle fort as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Galle Lighthouse, All saint's church, Meeran mosque, Dutch reformed church, moon bastion with clocktower, sun bastion from the west, triton bastion, Flagrock bastion, the main gate to the fort, Old gate to the fort, Fascinating boutique shops & variety of restaurants are the main attractions in the fort. nnThereafter the evening return to Mirissa and leisure in your hotel.

• In the morning tour will start from Mirissa to Katunayake for the departure flight. nTravel time from Mirissa to Katunayake is 3 hours and 40 minutes and 180 Km. nnBefore the 02 hours of flight departure time we will reach to airport and the Sri Lanka tour is complete. nnAccording to the requirement of the customer, we are possible to drip them to Colombo, Katunayake, and Negombo hotels instead of Katunayake airport.
