Next up, weu2019ll take the Alanya Cable Car (Teleferik) for a scenic ride up to Alanya Castle, built by the Seljuks in the 13th century. Itu2019s the perfect spot to catch a breathtaking view of Alanya, and if youu2019re lucky, youu2019ll get to enjoy a beautiful sunset along the way!
Weu2019ll arrive at Alanya Castle, perched on a hill about 250 meters above the sea. From here, youu2019ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the city, the Taurus Mountains, and the gorgeous sandy beaches. While the exact origins of the castle are unclear, youu2019ll notice influences from the Romans, Byzantines, and Seljuks. The castle we see today was built by Alaeddin Keykubat I in 1220. It's a fascinating place to explore with so much history to take in!
Next, weu2019ll head to Damlatau015f Cave, one of the most famous and stunning natural limestone caves in the area. The cave stretches about 150 meters and is filled with incredible stalactites and stalagmites that are over 15,000 years old. Itu2019s also known for being a great spot for those who suffer from asthma, thanks to the caveu2019s fresh air. Itu2019s truly a fascinating place to visit!
