One hour after your cruise arrives at Costa Maya Port, leave the port behind and begin your journey toward Bacalar, passing through Pedro Santos, a living Maya community known for its sweet honey pineapples.nnAlong the way, your guide will share insights into local Maya life and traditions as you travel approximately 70 minutes from Costa Maya to Bacalar.
Arrive at Bacalaru2019s famous Seven Color Lagoon and board your pontoon boat for a two-hour adventure across its remarkable shades of turquoise and blue.nnCruise across the freshwater lagoon as your guide takes you to some of Bacalaru2019s most iconic locations, including its cenotes and the historic Pirate Channel. Along the way, enjoy stops to swim in the refreshing waters and experience the lagoon from an entirely different perspective.nnBack on shore, enjoy an authentic Mexican lunch with refreshing drinks at a local restaurant.nnAfter experiencing one of Mexicou2019s most remarkable freshwater lagoons, sit back, relax and enjoy the approximately 70-minute journey back to Costa Maya Port with plenty of time to return to your cruise.

Meeting Point: Meet your guide at the Costa Maya Yellow Cab meeting point, just outside the main access to Costa Maya Port. Complete directions and a map are provided after booking.
Please note that the total walking time from your cruise ship to the meeting point is about 15 minutes.
Cruise Ship Information: Cruise ship guests must provide the full name of their cruise ship when booking so we can coordinate the excursion with the shipu2019s schedule.
No Port, No Pay: If your cruise ship does not call at Costa Maya Port, you will receive a full refund.
Walking Time: Please allow approximately 15 minutes to walk from your cruise ship to the meeting point.
Tour Duration: The complete experience lasts approximately 5 hours, including round-trip transportation from Costa Maya.
Rain or Shine: This tour operates rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the dayu2019s weather.
Lagoon Conditions: Bacalar is a natural freshwater lagoon, and water color, clarity and conditions may vary depending on weather and environmental factors.
What to Bring: Bring a swimsuit, towel, comfortable clothing, hat, sunscreen and a change of clothes. We also recommend bringing some cash for gratuities, souvenirs and personal purchases.
Open Bar: The included open bar offers beer, juice, sodas and bottled water. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests of legal drinking age. Premium alcoholic beverages are not included.
Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.
Swimming: Guests who choose to swim should be comfortable in the water. Life jackets are provided for the boat tour.
