Your adventure begins 1 hour after your cruise ship docks in Costa Maya. Meet your guide just outside the portu2019s main entrance, where theyu2019ll be waiting beside a welcome board. From there, take a short walk to the nearby meeting point and begin your journey toward Bacalar.nnAlong the way, make a brief stop in Pedro Santos, a small Mayan community surrounded by the tropical countryside of southern Quintana Roo. Known locally for its sweet honey pineapples, this is a chance to learn about one of the fruits grown in the region and get a glimpse of everyday local life beyond the cruise port.nnThen continue through the Yucatu00e1n countryside toward Bacalar and its famous Seven Colors Lagoon.
Arrive at Bacalaru2019s famous Seven Colors Lagoon and step aboard your pontoon boat for approximately 2 hours on the water. Cruise across changing shades of turquoise and blue as you make your way through the lagoon and into Pirateu2019s Channel, a historic passage once traveled by pirates through the region.nnStop along the way to swim in Bacalaru2019s clear waters and cenotes, then climb back aboard and enjoy fresh fruit, snacks, cold beer, shots and drinks from the open bar as you continue exploring the lagoon.nnAfter your time on the water, head to a local Mexican restaurant for an included lunch and enjoy authentic regional flavors before settling in for the ride back to Costa Maya and your cruise ship.

Your tour will depart one hour after your cruise docks. Look for your guide just outside the main Costa Maya Port entrance, holding a banner with your name.
Please note that the total walking time from your cruise ship to the meeting point is about 15 minutes.
IMPORTANT: Travelers coming by cruise ship must provide the full name of the ship.

This tour is designed for cruise guests and requires enough time in port to complete the approximately 5.5-hour experience.
This tour operates rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the dayu2019s weather.
Water clarity, visibility, and other lagoon conditions are natural and may vary depending on weather and environmental conditions.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, comfortable clothing, hat, sunglasses, and sun protection. Biodegradable sunscreen is recommended to help protect Bacalaru2019s ecosystem.
Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
This tour does not operate on Wednesdays.
Wednesday Tours: There is no boat service on Bacalar Lagoon on Wednesdays. On Wednesdays, the boat portion of the tour is replaced with a visit to Cenote Azul and a Lake Shore Beach Club, where you can swim and enjoy the waters of Bacalar from shore. The regular Bacalar boat itinerary operates on other available days.
Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.
The tour includes opportunities to swim in Bacalar Lagoon and its cenotes. Life jackets are provided for the boat experience.
Transportation vehicles can accommodate foldable/collapsible wheelchairs only. Non-folding wheelchairs cannot be accommodated.
