Cycling through peaceful countryside, we stop at key locations that played an important role in the disasteru2019s aftermath. At the Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Memorial and Museum, we reflect on the lives lost before continuing to the charming Takua Pa Old Town, one of Southern Thailand's most atmospheric heritage districts. Beautifully preserved Sino-Portuguese buildings, funded by the regionu2019s historic tin-mining boom, line the colourful streets.
