Itinerary

  • Depart from Bukhara at 9:00 AM and travel through Nurata to the yurt camp in the Kyzylkum Desert (Sputnik or Safari Yurt Camp).nnOn the way, stop in Nurata to see the ruins of Alexander the Greatu2019s fortress, the sacred spring, and other local sights.nnThen continue to Lake Aydarkul for lunch at a lakeside restaurant. If the weather allows, you can enjoy a walk along the shore or even go for a swim.nnAfter lunch, head to the yurt camp, settle into your yurt, and take a short camel ride or a walk in the dunes. In the evening, relax by the campfire and enjoy live traditional music performed by local bards.

  • After breakfast, depart for Samarkand u2014 the drive takes approximately 4 hours.nnUpon arrival, guests will be dropped off at a designated meeting point. However, private groups or those with fewer than 6 participants will enjoy direct drop-off at their hotel for added comfort.nnFor those interested, a 1-hour camel ride through the desert can be arranged before departure, available for an additional u20ac20 per person.
