Your pick-up time will be defined by the booking, and your guide will be at the reception of your hotel to take you to Presidente Figueiredo. The trip takes 2 hours by car, and you will travel in a comfortable and big SUV jeep with internet, A/C, and a private driver.
The first stop on our adventure is the impressive Maroaga Cave, a sandstone formation hidden deep in the heart of the Amazon Jungle. To reach this remarkable site, youu2019ll follow a forest trail accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide who will share stories, explain the areau2019s natural features, and point out unique plants and wildlife along the way.Once at the cave entrance, youu2019re welcome to take photos and enjoy the serene atmosphere, but for safety reasons, we do not go too far inside. The walk itself is a true jungle experience, surrounded by towering trees, vibrant vegetation, and the sounds of the rainforest. Comfortable walking or tennis shoes are essential, as the trail can be uneven and slightly muddy depending on the season.
After exploring Maroaga Cave, we continue along the same forest trail until we reach another hidden gem of the Amazon. Here, a gentle waterfall flows between sandstone walls, forming a crystalu2011clear natural pool where you can cool off, take a refreshing shower, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the jungle.nnThis spot is a favorite among travelers for its beauty and tranquility, offering the perfect moment to relax before we begin our walk back toward the entrance.nIn total, the full itineraryu2014including Maroaga Cave and Judeia Caveu2014takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, filled with nature, adventure, and unforgettable scenery.
Our next stop is one of the most popular rapids in President Figueiredo, a lively area surrounded by nature and home to several local restaurants. Here, youu2019ll also find the cityu2019s iconic monumentu2014a striking statue of an Indigenous warrior standing proudly before the rushing waters, symbolizing the regionu2019s deep cultural roots.nnThis is where we pause for a wellu2011deserved lunch, included in the tour and served with delicious regional dishes prepared by local chefs. Itu2019s the perfect moment to relax, enjoy authentic Amazonian flavors, and take in the beauty of the rapids before continuing your adventure.
After visiting the Urubui Rapids and enjoying a delicious regional lunch, we continue our journey with a short 20u2011minute drive to the stunning Iracema Falls. This breathtaking spot features a powerful waterfall surrounded by lush forest and a refreshing natural swimming areau2014perfect for cooling off and soaking in the Amazonu2019s beauty.nnHere, you can take a dip in the clear waters, relax on the rocks, or explore the sandstone formations and small caves with the guidance of a local expert. Itu2019s an ideal moment to connect with nature, take great photos, and enjoy one of President Figueiredou2019s most iconic landscapes.nnAround 3:30 pm, we begin our return trip to Manaus, bringing with us the energy of the waterfalls and the unforgettable memories of the day. We arrive back in Manaus at approximately 5:30 pm, where each traveler is comfortably dropped off at their hotel. Itu2019s the perfect moment to relax and reflect on the incredible landscapes, waterfalls, and jungle experiences that made this day truly unforgettable.
