The name and the importance of the city are closely related to the 25 years of activity of your national hero, Skanderbeg, who in the fifteenth century made Kruja a bastion of uncompromising resistance against the Ottoman.

Visit Kruja Castle, Skanderbegu2019s Museum, the Old Bazaar, and Sari Salltik mountain.nnWe will pick you up from the hotel and start the tour to Kruja city. After around one hour driving you are in Kruja and we continue the first visit to the Castle of Kruja, which houses Skanderbegu2019s Museum. It was the epicenter of the legendary Albanian resistance to the Ottomans, led by national hero Skanderbeg in the 15th century
Visiting this museum you will learn about the Albanian National Hero of Albania and see a replica of Skanderbegu2019s helmet and sword in the main hall, along with the flags and crests of noble families who supported him. The guide will provide fascinating historical insights about this significant period.
Enjoy e free time to explore and discover the current arts and crafts in the Old Bazaar. Look for souvenirs, including intricate local handicrafts.
The Ethnographic Museum, recently renovated and now open for visits, is housed in an old Ottoman-era residence. This museum offers a glimpse into the lifestyle of the region during that historical period.
Finally, driving by car on a panoramic mountain road to visit the holy site of Sari Salltik. Head to this cave located on the edge of a mountain 1176 meters high and also enjoy the amazing view from the top of the mountain.
