Entrance to Uu00e7hisar Castle itself is not included.
Explore one of Cappadociau2019s most important historical and religious sites.nWalk through a remarkable complex of rock-cut churches, chapels, monasteries and communal spaces carved into the volcanic landscape. Your guide will explain the history of Cappadociau2019s early Christian communities and the meaning of the surviving frescoes.nThe standard museum admission ticket is included.nThe Dark Church requires a separate ticket and is not included in the standard tour price.
Continue to Avanos, a riverside town known for its pottery tradition and red clay obtained from the Ku0131zu0131lu0131rmak River.nVisit a local pottery workshop and watch artisans demonstrate traditional wheel techniques. Guests may also have an opportunity to try working with the pottery wheel.nThere is no obligation to purchase anything during the workshop visit.
