Let’s visit Cetinje – a small city museum with beautiful monuments, promenades and nature under the huge mountain Lovćen. Cetinje is the former capital of Montenegro. It was founded in the 15th century and became the center of Montenegrin life and its culture. This small city, enriched with the greenery and architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries will surely draw your attention at first glance, through a rare combination of nature and culture, museums, art faculties, parks, promenades.

Itinerary

  • Pick up from your place of accommodation. Take a ride to Cetinje (drive duration from 30 min to 2 hours u2013 depending on the city of your stay). Arrival at Cetinje. Cetinje city tour u2013 (total time approx. 1 hour). nYou will be able to see the u0106ipuri church (approx. 10 min), we will pass in front of the former Njegou0161u2019s residence u2013 Biljarda (approx. 10 min), the Presidential Palace (approx. 10 min) - the most important monuments of this small city museum.

  • Time for visiting Cetinje Monastery - one of three largest sanctuaries in Montenegro and find out interesting stories about relics.

  • We will stop in front of King Nikola's Museum (approx. 10 minutes) which is located in the historic center of the city.nTime for sightseeing - optionally (approx. 40 min).nAfter the city tour, we will take a 10 minutes ride to the local beekeepers farm in the village near Cetinje.

  • Visit Beekeepers farm + lunch (approx. 2 hours). We will come to the local family and visit their 200 years old house. The host will show you beehives and tell some stories about this region. You will have a traditional Montenegrin lunch made up of local specialties and the opportunity to taste our hostu2019s specially brewed homemade liquors made of fruits and honey. nReturn to your accommodation. End of the tour.
