Enjoy a leisurely drive along the famous Northumberland Coastal Route and its surrounding countryside with views of the regions most famous castles.
On this tour, you will travel through some of the region’s most beautiful and iconic locations – and stop off for some free time on route. Even your fish and chips are included in the price! This tour is perfect for those who want to sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
The first stop is the beautiful village of Alnmouth. Take some free time to wander or enjoy a coffee before continuing up the coast. You will stop for traditional fish and chips at Seahouses before heading up to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. On route, you will see the stunning and dramatic castles of Warkworth, Bamburgh and Alnwick.
The tour is flexible and customisable. You can choose to walk along some sections of the coast, at any village you like, and also visit one of the castles on route.

Itinerary
You will get some free time to wander the picturesque village of Alnmouth on the Northumberland Coastal Route.
You will drive through the village of Warkworth with excellent views of Warkworth Castle. You can opt to stop here if you like for photo opportunities or to visit the castle (tickets not included in the price of this tour)
Stop in the traditional fishing village of Seahouses for a fish and chip lunch (vegetarian option available).
You will drive along the Northumberland Coastal Route as part of this tour.
See the dramatic setting of Bamburgh Castle. You can opt to stop here to walk on the beach, take some photographs or visit the castle (ticket cost not included as part of this tour).
We visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. You can wander the village and opt to have a guided tour of the village by your guide. Sample some mead at the winery and take some free time to take in the unique atmosphere of this special place.
Drive past another stunning Northumberland castle at Alnwick- the home to the legendary Percy family. You can opt to visit the castle (ticket not included in the price of this tour) or simply stop for some photo opportunities.
