Sigiriya

It is a very relaxing experience while enjoying the scenery by overlooking both Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rocks. You can decide which session (morning sunrise/evening sunset) you want to experience depending on your travel plan.

We are using a catamaran and you can sit on the deck before starting the activity. Up to 6 members can sit comfortably on the deck. I will be providing life jackets for your safety.

I will tell you the stories about the history behind Sigiriya and Pidurangala when those places were occupied by the King Kashyapa (473-491 AD) and also by the monks. Pidurangala was the mein temple in 5th C.AD therefore a lot of activities happened in between Sigiriya and Pidurangala. We can discuss those as well while enjoying the vibe. Also you can observe about 40 water-birds along with their behaviours. We can take a note or list down their names by looking in the bird guide book.

The scenery is the main attraction of the boat ride. It is really beautiful!
