• Mount Kirkjufell, a striking landmark on Icelandu2019s Snaefellsnes Peninsula, is one of the countryu2019s most photographed mountains.

• Berserkjahraun is a 4000-year-old lava field situated on the Snu00e6fellsnes peninsula. It covers the western part of Helgafell, between Stykkishu00f3lmur and Grundarfju00f6ru00f0ur.
