  • Each participant must provide their own personal supply of water for the duration of the experience.

  • Admission to the Park when accompanied by an independent guide is u20ac4.50 in the low season and u20ac6.50 in the high season.

Itinerary

  • After parking, the guide meets the group for introductions and an overview of the Park; then, the walk proceeds along the rim of the Gravina di Matera Canyon, passing by *jazzi* (traditional stone sheep enclosures), churches, cisterns, and cave complexes, while admiring the Parku2019s diverse florau2014depending on the season.

  • An ancient place of worship, later transformed into a workspace, set within the Karst landscape and deeply connected to the city of Matera.
