• City museum is a museum designed by the Swiss-Frenchnarchitect Le Corbusier. It was named Museum of Knowledgenduring design stage and was originally a part of a largencomplex of Cultural Centre of Ahmedabad. The designnalso included a exhibition area for theatre, but out ofnwhole plan only museum was built. Its foundation stone wasnlaid on 9 April 1954. Housed in Sansakar Kendra is a citynmuseum depicting history, art, culture, textile, antiquity andnarchitecture of Ahmedabad and also to nurture andnrestore the ethos, pride and value of Ahmedabad.nAnother Patang Kite Museum is there which includes ancollection of kites, photographs, and other artifacts.

• Sarkhej Roza is a pre-cursor to a Mughal period in antrue amalgamation of Islamic, Hindu and Jain styles.nThe dargah of Sheikh Ahmed Ganj Baksh Khattu a Suu2022nsaint and advisor to Sultan Ahmed Shah is housed in thisncomplex. The construction of Sarkhej Roza (mausoleumn-1445 A.D.) and the Mosque (1451 A.D.) werencommissioned by the reigning monarch Muhammadnshah and completed by his successor Qutubudu2013Din-nAhmed Shah in the memory of the saint. SultannMahmud Begada completed the complex bynexcavating a central water tank and adding a numbernof small pavilions and a small private mosque.nMehmud Begada also built a mausoleum for himselfnand his family where his son Muzzaffar II and queennRajabai were buried.

• Vishala prides itself on its presentation of Indian culturenand tradition in its village-like environment with its museumnof old utensils. Vechaar (Vishalla Environmental Centre fornHeritage of Art, Architecture And Research) a uniquenmuseum built-in 1981 displaying a precious collection ofnutensils. It is an effort to cherish and preserve the richncultural heritage and rare artistic skills of our craftsmen.nThe utensils display exhibits pieces from thousand yearsnold to present times that has evolved over years of historynaccording to our needs and environment. The range variesnfrom a ground jug to stainless steel and glass utensils, metalnutensils like brass, copper, bronze, zinc and german silver.

• The night street market filled with a number of shops sellingnlocal handicraft items and Indian intricacies. It is wellnknown for local traditional Gujarati textiles and jewelrynin white metal. It has items like handicrafts, cane, andnwooden items.
