• You arrive in Yerevan, and you're met by our Feel Armenia team. Welcome to Armenia!nYou will be transferred to your hotel. As you will be quite tired after the flight(s), we haven't planned anything for this day. Instead, you will stay at the hotel, relax and get prepared for the upcoming days. nWhat is next?

• It dates back to the end of the 3rd century, when Saint Gregory the Illuminator suffered persecution for spreading the Christian faith. His place of imprisonment and suffering was Khor Virap Monastery, a sacred site that stands today with breathtaking views of biblical Mount Ararat. From here, Christianity spread throughout the land, eventually leading to the establishment of the Holy See of Echmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

• Discover the Spiritual City of EchmiadzinnEchmiadzin, the spiritual heart of Armenia, invites you to explore the roots of Christianity. Here youu2019ll find the historic churches of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These sacred landmarks are dedicated to the three virgins who bravely preached Christianity in the late 3rd century. Just a short distance away lies the Mother See of Echmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

• Just outside Echmiadzin stands the awe-inspiring ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century architectural masterpiece. Although in ruins today, its beauty and harmony with the surrounding landscape remain undeniable. With the majestic Mount Ararat as a backdrop, Zvartnots offers one of the most breathtaking views in Armenia. After this unforgettable journey through history and spirituality, youu2019ll return to the capital city, Yerevan.

• Start your morning with a touch of spirituality at the Geghard Monastery, where the serene atmosphere and morning liturgy create a perfect harmony of soul and mind. Dating back to the 4th century, Geghard is one of Armeniau2019s greatest architectural and cultural treasures, carved partly into the surrounding cliffs. • Before adopting Christianity, Armenians practiced paganismu2014and the only surviving monument from that era still stands today: the Temple of Garni. Dating back to the 1st century AD, this Greco-Roman temple sits in the picturesque village of Garni, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and nature. One of the largest freshwater, high-altitude lakes in the world, Sevan is often called the u201cPearl of Armenia.u201d On its picturesque peninsula, stretching into the blue waters, stands the powerful Sevanavank Monastery, a site of history, spirituality, and breathtaking views.

• Continue your journey to Dilijan, a charming town often called the u201cLittle Switzerland of Armeniau201d for its lush forests and fresh mountain air. Just a short drive away, hidden deep in the greenery, lies the Haghartsin Monastery. Dating back to the 13th century, this architectural gem was once an important center of education and culture. Surrounded by nature, it offers both tranquility and a glimpse into Armeniau2019s medieval heritage.

• Depart ti Ashtarak and visit the small yet remarkable Karmravor Church, dating back to the 7th century. Known for its red-tiled dome, from which it gets its name (Karmravor means u201creddishu201d), this well-preserved gem is one of Armeniau2019s oldest standing churches. Despite its modest size, it carries great historical and spiritual significance, offering a glimpse into early Armenian Christian architecture.

• Depart to the 13th-century Saghmosavank Monastery, dramatically located on the edge of the Kasagh River Gorge. Known as the u201cMonastery of the Psalmsu201d, it was once a vital spiritual and educational center of medieval Armenia. From its grounds, admire breathtaking views of the gorge and, on clear days, the majestic Mount Ararat rising in the distance.
