Dating back to the 1st century AD, it features Greco-Roman style architecture and is beautifully located on the edge of the gorge of the River Azat.nnNext, visit the Symphony of the Stones, hexagonal basalt columns with a naturally complicated formation. Continue your introduction to the history and culture of Armenia with a master class in baking Armenian national bread, lavash. Taste it with cheese and greens.nnYour next stop is the Geghard Monastery, the first in UNESCO World Heritage. Founded in the 4th century AD by Gregory the Illuminator, the person who made Armenia the first Christian country in the world in 301 AD, the main complex of this monastery dates back to the 13th century AD and is partly hewn into one solid rock.nnFinally, stop on the peninsula of Lake Sevan near the Sevanavank Monastery. Spend free time exploring the beach of Lake Sevan and enjoying the views from the top of the peninsula. We drop off our guests at their hotels.
