Itinerary

• Today you will be picked up at O.R Tambo Airport bus terminal at around 6:50 am. Travel for about 6 hours through African bush and scenic landscapes to the lodge. There will be two 15 minute comfort stops en route, in which will be able to buy snacks and refreshments. You will arrive in Hazyview at around 1:00 pm. The lodge driver will meet you at the drop-off point and transfer you to the lodge. This is a quick 5 u2013 10-minute drive. After check-in, you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided Landcruiser for an exciting introductory sunset game drive in Kruger National Park. The lodge is about 15 u2013 20 minutes drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate. After your safari game drive, you return to the lodge where you can unwind, have drinks and relax. Dinner at the lodge restaurant.

• This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open sided land cruisers. The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife, and the elevated height of the 4u00d74 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities.nEnjoy lunch at one of the park's restaurants (own account), before starting the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park. During these game drives, youu2019ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities.nAfter our tour, weu2019ll make our way to back to our lodge or camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight.

• Today we will say goodbye to the fabulous Kruger Park. This morning you have a choice between another morning game drive or relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the great facilities it offers. Should you choose to stay at the lodge, you can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast at the restaurant. If you join us on the morning safari, a picnic-style breakfast will be served at one of the picnic spots in the park. The morning game drive is entirely optional and on your own account (payable at the lodge), and it is a great way to spend your last morning on tour if you feel the need to see wild animals one last time.nYou will be picked up at the lobby of the lodge at about 11:00 am for your transfer back to Johannesburg, with a couple of comfort stops on the way. Your drop-off at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo airport or accommodation will be at around 5:30 pm. Safe travels ahead!

Good to know

• Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

• Suitable for all physical fitness levels

• Please note: no hut/lodge accommodation is available at Kruger during the Skukuza Half Marathon, a yearly event that always takes place the first weekend of August. Camping accommodation is still available.

• We offer an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route at no extra charge and replaces your game drives for the day. You will enjoy breakfast in camp at 07h30, depart from camp at 08h15 and visit attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and Godu2019s Window. We stop in one of the small towns en-route for lunch (at your own expense). We will be back in camp between 17h00 and 18h00. This excursion, which will incur an extra charge, replaces your game drives for the day and will be co-ordinated by our staff while you are on safari with us. (Kindly note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your Safari due to time constrictions)

• Note: This optional excursion needs to be pre-booked. If you would like to opt into the Panorama Route activity, please let us know at the time of booking.

• This itinerary is subject to change at anytime without prior notice depending on availability at the camps and parks.

• Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the Day 1 sunset drive. They are allowed on the morning and afternoon Outlook Safaris, however if they become loud or disruptive, they will be escorted back to camp with their parents and the guide. Please note that airport pick-up is included for flights arriving before 5:30am on Day 1 and airport drop-off is available for flights leaving after 11pm on the last day
