Itinerary

  • Depart Johannesburg at 07:00 on the shuttle to Hoedspruit, arriving at Radisson Hotel by 12:30 for lunch. After 14:00 check-in, embark on your first thrilling safari at 15:00 through Blue Canyon Reserve. Your expert guide will track rhinos, elephants and big cats as you enjoy sundowner drinks against a spectacular African sunset. Return to the hotel by 18:30 for dinner

  • Depart at dawn (05:00) with your private guide, entering Kruger National Park through Orpen Gate. Spend the day tracking the Big Five across diverse landscapes, pausing at a rest camp for lunch amidst the wilderness. After intensive game viewing, begin your return journey at 15:00, arriving back at the hotel by late afternoon.

  • Choose between a leisurely morning at the hotel or a final 3-hour private safari (own cost, ~R5500) with your guide. Return for a late breakfast, then check out and board the shuttle to OR Tambo International Airport, marking the end of your safari adventure
