Itinerary

• Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport byn07:00am, you will travel east through the farmlands andnonto the Kruger National Park.nArriving at the Adventure lodge located in Hazyview andnonly 15min drive away from the Phabeni Gate into thenNational Park, there is time check into your en-suite,nair-conditioned accommodation (Chalet or tent, dependent on availability when booking), fresh up and depart on your first Open vehicle safari drive in the Kruger National Park.nThis safari drive is for around 2 to 2 and Half hours.nReturn to the Lodge at Sunset and in time for a beveragenand dinner severed at the Lodge.

• Following an early wake-up call, there will be time for tea orncoffee and rusks before departing for a full day opennvehicle safari drive from approximately 06:00 to 15:30.nBrunch is included along your route, and your guide willnalso stop for you to purchase refreshments further duringnthe day.nDinner is served under the stars at the Private Lodge onnthe outskirts of the National Park.

• A Panoramic view of the Lowveld escarpment. 900m view point overlooking lush vegetation and indigenous ravines.

• Visit the 3rd Largest canyon in the world and the largest vegetated canyon on earth.

• Bourke's Luck Potholes, were named after prospector Tom Bourke who discovered alluvial gold in the are during the late 1880's Their formation is a natural phenomenon created by the swirling river water.

• Graskop is a small forestry town perched on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment. Renowned for its pancake bars and curio shops. Your trip to Graskop will take you past spectacular waterfalls such as Lisbon Falls, Berlyn Falls and Mac Mac Falls.

• A mining town still bound to 18th century styles. Founded in 1870 by a massive gold rush in the area. The uniqueness of this historic village is vividly evident in its museums and historic sites. It offers the visitor a fascinating window into the past, and captures the spirit of a bygone era and its people in their quest for gold.

• You wake up early again and depart on an optional sunrisensafari drive in the open safari vehicle. Alternatively, you can enjoy the morning at the lodge before departing Hazyview at noon for your return transfer to Johannesburg, arriving at the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport between 17:00 u2013 18:00pm.
