  • We depart from Johannesburg at 8:00am and head off to Kruger National Park, a 5 hour journey by road. We take a lunch break along the way (own expense). When we arrive in Kruger National Park, we check into the hotel. Thereafter you go into the sunset game safari commencing at 3pm.   • Enjoy a sunset safari on day 1 at Kruger National Park in an open 4x4. On day 1, after arriving in Kruger National Park, youu2019ll set off on an exhilarating sunset safari in an open 4x4 vehicle, the perfect way to begin your adventure. As the heat of the day fades, many animals become more active, offering excellent opportunities to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas preparing for their nightly hunts, as well as elephants, buffalo, and antelope grazing in the golden light. The changing colors of the African sky create a magical backdrop, transforming the bush into a photographeru2019s dream. With an experienced ranger guiding the way, this safari not only brings you close to wildlife but also immerses you in the unique atmosphere of the African wilderness at dusk.

  • Our safaris are done in open game vehicles specialized for game viewing with a qualified guide for the day. Although not guaranteed, you will have an excellent chance of seeing all of the big 5.nWe currently have about an 80% success rate in spotting big 5 animals in just one game drive. A must do activity to complete your African safari adventure!nAfter enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and some biscuits 15 minutes before your departure time, you will be handed a packed breakfast to take with you and enjoy inside the Kruger National Park.nA stop at one of the rest camps will be made around lunch time allowing you to get lunch (own expense) long the way.nFull Day Safari:nSummer departure times: 05:30am, returns: 15:00pmnWinter departure times: 06:00am, returns 15:00pmnOvernight at Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar hotel.

  • We depart after breakfast and head for a tour of God's Window. nnWith magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls, God's Window is truly an area of breathtaking scenic splendour. Gods Window is so called for the panoramic view of the Lowveld more than 900 m down into lush indigenous forest clad ravine. The majestic cliffs plunge over 700 meters to the Lowveld . God's Window is a small part of a 250km long earthwork of sheer cliffs and extravagant beauty. One can observe the hills and forests as far as the eye can see. In fact, it seems as if one can see forever!.

  • From God's Window we go to tour Bourkes' Luck Potholes. nnA tour of Bourkeu2019s Luck Potholes offers a fascinating glimpse into the natural forces that have shaped the landscape of Blyde River Canyon. These remarkable cylindrical rock formations, carved by centuries of swirling water at the confluence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers, create a mesmerizing sight. Visitors can explore the network of walkways and bridges that provide vantage points over the deep, smooth potholes, and take in the intricate patterns and colors etched into the rock. Named after a 19th-century prospector who hoped to find gold here, Bourkeu2019s Luck Potholes is both a geological marvel and a serene spot to appreciate the power of nature.

  • A visit to the Three Rondavels is a highlight of the Panorama Route, offering one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in South Africa. These massive, round rock formations rise dramatically above the Blyde River Canyon and resemble traditional African rondavel huts, hence their name. The panoramic view stretches across lush valleys, rugged cliffs, and the winding river far below, creating a truly awe-inspiring scene.   • A visit to Lisbon Falls, the highest waterfall in Mpumalanga, is a breathtaking experience along the Panorama Route. Cascading an impressive 94 meters into a deep, scenic gorge, the falls are surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic cliffs, creating a truly picturesque setting.   • Depart from Kruger National Park after breakfast and travel in Mpumalanga Province back to Johannesburg. Traveling from Kruger National Park to Johannesburg by road takes you on a picturesque journey through Mpumalanga, showcasing South Africa's diverse landscapes. As you leave the wildlife-rich plains of Kruger, the route winds through the scenic vistas. Continuing west, the landscape gradually shifts to rolling hills and farmlands. The journey culminates as you approach Johannesburg, South Africa's vibrant economic hub, blending natural splendor with urban sophistication. This road trip offers a unique blend of adventure, scenic beauty, and cultural experiences.
