• We depart from Johannesburg at 8:00am and head off to Kruger National Park, a 5 hour journey by road. We will take an hour lunch break along the way (own expense). When we arrive in Kruger National Park, you will relax at the hotel (Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar) late afternoon as you get ready for a full day in the park game driving and seeing wild animals including the big 5

• A sunset game safari in Kruger National Park is a magical experience that captures the African wilderness at its most atmospheric. As the heat of the day fades and golden light spills across the savannah, animals become more activeu2014lions stir from their rest, elephants gather at waterholes, and herds of antelope move through the bush. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide in an open safari vehicle, you explore the park in the soft glow of late afternoon, pausing to observe wildlife against the backdrop of a spectacular African sunset. As darkness approaches, the sights and sounds of the bush shift: nocturnal creatures begin to emerge, and the calls of owls and jackals fill the air. With spotlights in hand, your guide scans the landscape for elusive animals like leopards, hyenas, and bush babies. • Day 2 - full day safari at Kruger National Park. Our safaris are done in open game vehicles specialized for game viewing with your very own qualified guide for the day. Although not guaranteed, you will have an excellent chance of seeing all of the big 5.nWe currently have about an 80% success rate in spotting big 5 animals in just one game drive. • A visit to Godu2019s Window is a highlight of the Panorama Route and one of South Africau2019s most breathtaking natural viewpoints. On clear days, you can see as far as the Kruger National Park and even Mozambique. • A visit to Bourkeu2019s Luck Potholes is a fascinating stop along Mpumalangau2019s Panorama Route, where geology and natural beauty come together in spectacular fashion. Formed over thousands of years by the swirling confluence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers, these deep cylindrical rock formations have been carved into the canyon floor, creating a surreal landscape of smooth, layered potholes in vibrant shades of red, yellow, and brown. Named after Tom Bourke, a hopeful prospector who believed the area was rich in gold, the site instead revealed natureu2019s far greater treasureu2014its raw artistry. Visitors can explore the area via a network of walkways and footbridges that offer incredible views of the potholes, waterfalls, and surrounding cliffs. With its dramatic scenery, rushing water, and educational displays, Bourkeu2019s Luck Potholes is not only a visual marvel but also a powerful reminder of natureu2019s patient, sculpting force.

• Visiting the Three Rondavels is a truly awe-inspiring experience and a highlight of South Africau2019s Panorama Route.
