Starting point where the client will be met before the journey begins and the drive to Pinnawala Elephant Project takes 2hours Approx.
Pinnawala u2013 this orphanage is the home for about 89 elephants, out of which some baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are been cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times, when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottled fed. also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see them having their daily bath.
The Golden Dambulla Cave Temple has been a pilgrimage destination for the past 22centuries.it is also the largest and best-preserved cave temple on the island. The Dambulla Cave Temple was named a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE Site in 1991 in order to preserve the magnificent wall paintings and over 150 statues in the and around the temple.
Want to try something traditional and something different? Delightful afternoon BULLOCK CART RIDE is just the ticket, which will take you to some of the nicest places on the island. Built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD).The lions Rocku2019 is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200meteres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the renowned water fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned frescoes of the u2018Heavenly Maidensu2019 of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments of plaster.
