  • We begin riding out from Tiranau2019s Old Bazaar, one of the cityu2019s most popular daytime attractions. This lively area, known for its traditional market, local cafes, and street art, is flat and easy to cycle u2014 perfect for starting our cycling tour.

  • Our adventure begins at the vibrant heart of Tirana, Skanderbeg Square. This central plaza, spanning 40,000 square meters, is surrounded by iconic landmarks like the National History Museum, Opera House, and National Bank. The square is named after Albaniau2019s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, and features his impressive 11-meter-tall statue. The squareu2019s eclectic mix of architecture showcases Tiranau2019s diverse history, from Ottoman-era structures to Fascist and Communist influences, creating a fascinating backdrop for our exploration.

  • You won't believe that this was Tirana's tallest building until 1970! The Clock Tower has been a city landmark and a symbol of Tiranau2019s development. Right next to it, we have the statue of Skanderbeg, and we'll talk a little more about his remarkable history.
