The town Strelcha is known for its participation in the April Uprising in 1876 with its own fuel and mineral springs and as one of the biggest centers of rose production in Bulgaria. Weu2019ll stop some kilometers after the town to see a big megalithic complex. Walking around the stones u2013 1 hour.
A lot of famous Bulgarians were born here u2013 Bulgarians that they changed history.nnThe biggest uprising against the Ottoman empire started from here, a final step to the dreams of Bulgarians u2013 the freedom. Weu2019ll see some of the houses, very well preserved from the 19th century, and the Runny rocks, where is the monument of Benkovski, one of the commanders of the April uprising.
