Overview

The experience will be a fun and informative one. Your guide has extensive experience in tours, entertainment and loves communication with people. The tour gives you a very good background to South Africa and the Apartheid History. Your guide will tell you personal stories of his experiences in South Africa that will fill in all the blanks that wont be seen at museums. Shane is the author of White Boy. A book about a boy growing up in SA during the apartheid era.
He will include on the tour many stories about South Africa and his experiences. This is an educational tour of a 3rd generation South African. The Apartheid museum is a world class museum.
The Constitutional Court is a unique opportunity to visit the highest court in our country. The prison will round off your SA experience

  • During our drive to Soweto we will give you a good general idea of the township including history and interesting facts. We will also include information on Mandela House, shanty towns and security. We will drop you at the Mandela house in Soweto, this is our first stop. You then pay your entry fee and a guide will accompany you on the tour. The cost of the tour is R 100. When you are finished we will go to the next stop in Vilakazi street.

  • We take you into the township for a ride to see the different areas

  • NB THE MUSEUM IS ONLY OPEN WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY .nThis is an amazing visit and something all travelers should experience. It gives you a very good idea what South Africa was before independence. We allow you a max of 3 hours to walk through the museum. The cost is R 150. We will give you a run down on what you can expect to experience on our drive from Soweto. This is the most popular tourist attraction in Johannesburg.

  • One of my favourite tours. Visit the prison that Mandela, Ghandi and many famous politicians spent doing jail time. You also see the Old Fort, Ladies Prison and the new Constitutional Court. Itu2019s a sad history of how badly people where treated and hopefully with our new constitution this will not happen again. Cost is R 90 per person

  • A drive pass the central business district that has been vocated by most big business head offices and our stock market. We also pass many of the huge gold mine dumps and Anglo American Gold head offices.

  • In 1976 the youth protested in Soweto. Hector Pieterson was killed by a rubber bullet shot by the police into the crowd. This extra is a memorial to this young child .

  • Desmond Tutu house visit. We see two Nobel peace prize winners houses on this famous road . Villakazi street
